With the refurbishment of the long-established ViennArt Hotel, moodley and BWM Architects have given Spittelberg a meeting place where local guests can relax, enjoy and work from early to late.
From ViennArt to Gilbert
Originally, the Kleindienst-Giendl hotelier family just wanted some fresh ideas and newly designed rooms for their well-known ViennArt in the middle of Vienna's Spittelberg. The result was a courageous refurbishment in which no stone was left unturned, but a lot of new things moved in.
Together with BWM Architekten, moodley developed the strategic brand strategy including brand positioning in an intensive branding process and designed the Neighbourhood Hotel Gilbert - with a simple design and a strong reference to nature. Gilbert opens its doors in December 2021: for travellers from all over the world and for locals who want to enjoy their city from a different perspective.
