Setting a new benchmark in sailing

Former sailing world and European champion Hans Spitzauer and designer Daniel Huber are not only linked by a personal friendship, but also by more than 15 years of collaboration and a very special boat that has emerged from it.

The Lago 26, being highly successfully used on the world's lakes in keel, sword and foil versions, is considered the best boat in its class for experienced sports sailors. However, the Speedster version, which was presented to the public at the "boot" in Düsseldorf in 2024, once again sets new benchmarks across the board.

The boat, based on the 26-foot hull design by Juliane Hempel, impresses visually with its clear lines and sporty appearance. A concept designed for solo sailing with a self-tacking jib and optimized keel as well as rigging, high-tech materials and top-tier craftsmanship lay the foundation for sailing characteristics that are second to none. Sophisticated and high-quality interior and fittings also allow for pleasant sailing with friends or family. The result is a boat with exceptional qualities not just in the water. It offers exceptional sailing quality for ambitious sports sailors but is also a perfect daysailer for hobbyists. After extensive testing has been completed the first boats will be handed over to their new owners as early as 2024.
