Reyhani is all about rice. Really, really good rice. A new packaging for the family business’ delicious grains now also makes this visible on the shelf.
For Reyhani, rice is much more than a staple food. It’s practically part of the family. The family name, which is also a brand name, has been synonymous with the best quality organic grain for many years. Yet, the extraordinary, fine taste is not the only thing that matters. Sustainability in the production and the fair treatment of its rice farmers is firmly engrained in the company's DNA. moodley was tasked with designing the new product packaging to for this organically evolved brand to match the new corporate identity: contemporary but with respect for the family heritage and the values behind the product and as a real eye-catcher on the shelf.
The brand identity, also designed by moodley, was the basis for a completely new packaging design. A discreet colour scheme that runs through the entire CI makes it possible to distinguish the individual varieties at first glance, even on the shelf. At the same time, the new packaging clearly stands out without being intrusive. The updated Reyhani-R is a central design element and the eye catcher at the point of sale. Organic and Fairtrade certifications were also prominently integrated into the appearance of the new cardboard packaging. Together with a clear typography and a lot of breathing room, an apparently simple cuboid shape was made into outstanding packaging that does justice to the best rice.
