They also allow you to relax and listen to music and podcasts or make phone calls. The brand identity developed by moodley makes the high-end product tangible.
Task
Fauna is a brand of the start-up USound, the glasses are based on the MEMS speaker technology developed by the Graz-based audio company. The vision: to develop audio wearables that open people's sense of hearing to their surroundings while they enjoying music or podcasts. moodley’s challenge: A distinct positioning, a convincing naming and a clear design for the international market.
Solution
The name Fauna, developed by moodley, suggests: The audio glasses enable a new listening experience. They do not isolate the user from their surroundings, as is the case with headphones, but keep the senses open to external impressions. The claim „Stay Open“ further reinforces this unique in the communication. Characterized by a sympathetic, urban, modern imagery and a richly contrasting world of colours with specifically developed colours, a straightforward, simple design was created. Openness and high-quality aesthetics, combined with high-end technology that enables unprecedented freedom, are expressed throughout the entire brand identity. In addition, moodley developed all brand-relevant touch points such as the landing page, online shop and app and supported industrial designer Marc Ischepp in the product design from the start. The sustainable packaging was conceptualized and made ready for series production in close cooperation with the manufacturers.
