Rebranding of a global leader
If you want to map big cities, vast landscapes or whole countries, you probably use one of the UltraCams of Vexcel Imaging. It is said they are the best of their kind – thanks to an incredibly high resolution and continuing updates. So there is one thing for sure: With Vexcel, the global market leader, you’ll be skyrocketing.
A company from Graz that is leading in its area of expertise: Vexcel Imaging. Nobody else produces such sophisticated terrestrial and aerial cameras of such a high quality. This is cutting edge technology from Graz. Until 2016 Vexcel has been a subsidiary company of Microsoft – together they developed Bing Maps, formerly known as Virtual Earth. After the management-buy-out Vexcel was in need of a new appearance that translates the technical finesse into the universal language of design.
A new brand identity including a new logo, which lives up to Vexcel’s outstanding work. moodley took the core of the cameras – the “multiple lenses” – and eternised it as an identification mark in the logo. A tribute to the UltraCam, whose look moodley also renewed. Due to the design kit for all the brand’s touch points – analogue and digital – products and everything printed finally add up. The cameras are put in the centre on purpose, that’s where they belong. And icons – easy to understand – offer a quick overview of each model’s specifications.
