Efficiency with a purpose.

The revolutionary impeller technology from HYDRO IMPULSE transfers a concept from aviation to a maritime environment: in the long term, the innovative drive solution should make the propeller obsolete for boat and ship engines. In order to make the most of the many advantages in terms of efficiency and environmental friendliness, moodley developed a long-life-cycle business model together with the Graz-based start-up - i.e. maximum product benefit over the longest possible time.

From sustainable concept to Ecodesign

For this purpose, the product development along the entire design process, starting in the strategy phase, was based on the design-for-disassembly approach: on a design that can be repaired but also upgraded. Consequently, an extraordinary product design was created under the motto; "As stable as possible, with as little material as necessary". A streamlined body that moves efficiently in the water, allows easy maintenance access and by design combines maximum durability with high recognizability Thus, an environmentally friendly design in the water optimally supports the best features of the impeller.

This is also the basis for the new brand design, which manages the balancing act between high-tech brand and lifestyle brand and expresses one thing above all: that HYDRO IMPULSE has set out with the aim of changing life on and under the water in the long term.

moodley's comprehensive overall strategy, from the business model to the design of the brand and product, lays the foundation for the revolution in boating and shipping for the Graz-based start-up. With the launch of HYDRO IMPULSE, the technology provider is now successfully starting series production and living ecological, economic and social justice. The self-confident brand also makes it possible to easily integrate services or reconditionings into the company and thus sets new impulses - for life on and under the water.
